Kinross Gold Corporation is one of the largest gold mining companies in the world and employs over 9,300 people worldwide with a diverse portfolio of mines and projects in the United States, Brazil, Chile, Ghana, Mauritania, and Russia.


Kinross was looking to enhance their online presence with a modern responsive design website to help them tell the Kinross story to multiple audiences, including Investors, Governments, NGOs, Environmental Organizations, the general public, and in a highly visual and user friendly way. The new website needed the ability to be viewed across platforms and in many languages, and had to support the company’s new career site with an ambitious SEO and email subscription strategy.


K2 Digital responded to the request for a proposal issued by Kinross and was awarded the project partly on the strength of the compelling creative concepts and easy to use navigation proposed in the pitch.
